- Heroin, cocaine, MDMA, opium, cannabis, stimulants, psychotropic substances, and some of other narcotic materials including magic mushrooms are probihited by Japanse laws. If you bring these drugs into Japan, you will be arrested.
- Some over-the-counter medications in other countries or some internet-available drugs are also banned in Japan, since they contain narcotic or stimulant ingredients in excess of the Japanese standard.
